!Emergency Pedal Drop!
As most people probably know by now, there is devistating damage in LA due to unprecidented fire destroying thousands of homes. We have family and friends effected by the LA fires and want to help in some way from our corner of the PNW. So instead of waiting to release for next month we are moving up the release to today, January 10th so that we can make a timely donation to charity on the ground helping people in this current event. 10% of ALL SALES go to LA Fire Relief Charity Jan 10-17th. We will be sending donations daily based on whatever payments clear, to get the funds to help relief efforts as quickly as possible.
If you would like to donate here is a list of reputable charitys that are helping in the LA fires, we will be donating to charities from this list:

The EMBR
A Core Series Limited Edition Overdrive & Distortion
No secret by now, we love overdrive... we love low gain sweetners and pushed amp touch-sensitive overdriven tones. The EMBR starts as most of our pedal do, as a low gain harmonic sweetener but then about halfway through the gain range it manages to cross the mythical line from overdrive, into distortion! This feat is one that I think is rarely done well, and literally sresulting in a very dynamic pedal that may have the widest usable gain range of any pedal we have ever made. While I find the low gain range usable and compelling, the magic in the EMBR really is high gain overdrive and distortion range. Stand out qualities to us are that it is very forward and aggressive, but in all the right ways. It has the ability to pushing your guitar to the front of mix without being annoyingly harsh or "buzzy". I know tone words are overused hyperbolie at this point but we think it has an incredible amplike feel and responsiveness, especially when running at 18v (36v internally). At the top of the gain range, it is very much in the JCM800/900 range but dpending on the EQ and guitar, it can go from chunky punk rock chords, to classic 70-80s rock tones all the way to thick grunge tones. Take a listen to the audio samples on the Demos page and you will hear various settings with various guitars and even with no EQ or compression it sounds record mix ready straight out of the box!
The Story of the EMBR
The heart of what makes this pedal unique, is a complex and creative clipping structure unlike anything we have released, or seen for that matter. It was discovered by Nate exploring ideas within our core modular format, chasing a hunch. The clipping array we endded up at combining feedback and shunt topologies and mixing several NOS silicon diode models from our R&D bentch. While we cant reveal the exact secrets of this circiut, we were immediately impressed by the sound and feel of this combo and knew it needed to become "a thing". Very rarely do we hear a pedal that goes seemlessly from overdrive to distortion, or gets aggressive while not feeling flat or annoyingly "buzzy". The EMBR is succeeds at everything we look for in a distortion pedal while being surprisingly quiet and offering a full range of high gain overdrive and distortion tones with our wide range LOWS and HIGHS filters.
No Mods... What gives?!
We tried all our normal mods on this... well, it just didn't sound better this time to us. The magic of the Orange Drop in the Highs spot just flat out won for us with this circuit so no mods this time. However, if you would like to match our donation you can add another $30!
CORE Series Simplicity
The CORE Series features a streamlined control set for quickly dialing in killer tones with four knobs to adjust Level, Gain, Lows and Highs in a custom painted sleek Gorva pedal enclosure.
CORE Series Dual Rail Power
We designed the CORE Series with a dual rail doubling power supply. This design can scale from +/-7v to +/-18v, effecting the headroom, tone and feel of the pedal, achieving up to four times the headroom over standard 9v pedals. The internal supply achieves this by mirroring whatever input voltage you apply via the external power supply and we always encourage people to experiment. Requires clean power supplty of 7-18v with minimum of 100mA of current.
CORE Series Quiet Bypass
Our entire CORE Series features our quiet bypass switching system. It is a true bypass, relay based system for minimum pop when engaging the effect.
